Annie Jordan
Executive Director at DeKalb Pro Bono
As Executive Director, Annie serves DeKalb County by developing programs that match volunteer attorneys with low-income residents who need representation in civil matters such as domestic relations, bankruptcy, landlord/tenant disputes, probate issues, consumer debt and representation for victims of domestic violence seeking civil temporary protective orders.
Prior to her current role, Annie had been with DeKalb Pro Bono as a staff attorney since 2019 where she ran the Domestic Violence Project. She served the people of DeKalb County by providing representation to low-income people seeking civil protective orders. She also works with the legal community in DeKalb County and coordinates with volunteer attorneys to provide pro bono legal services for survivors of domestic violence seeking civil protective orders. In addition, she provides advice and assistance to clients in family law matters.
Prior to joining DeKalb Pro Bono, Annie worked in private practice at Knight Family Law and Senterfitt & Knight. Her practice focused exclusively on family law and included a full range of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, family violence and stalking, contempt, and modification cases. In addition, Annie interned in the Fulton County Family Division for the Honorable Judge Wendy Shoob, where she gained comprehensive training in family law litigation as well as considerable insight into how family law cases are viewed from a judge’s perspective.
Annie is active in the legal community and has served as a vice president for the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers since 2015, and on the Family Law Committee of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010 and a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2013.
